In 2012, we set up Family Mediation North East, which outgrew its regional home and became Pax Mediation. We have 10 years' experience working with people to enable them to have the discussions they need to have to reach decisions for the benefit of their children, their finances and themselves. Since we were established we have helped over 14,000 families sort out their disputes and have over 50 years of combined mediation experience. We have been leaders in online mediation and have helped clients locally, nationally and internationally.

We have also been pioneers in the creation of mediation legal packages. We did so, as clients were telling us they were being charged excessive legal fees for their divorce or separation and didn't feel their solicitor supported the mediation process. We established partnerships with legal firms to provide tailored packages of legal advice to support the mediation process.

Our director Sarah-Jane Turnbull is a member of the National Family Mediation Council Standards Board (FMSB) and a key decision-maker and leader in setting the professional standards for family mediation.

All of our practising mediators hold the FMCA qualification that evidences we are qualified to the highest standard. We are a company of expert mediators who provide tailor-made solutions to help families resolve their disputes during separation and divorce and within care proceedings.
